Taliban takes over Afghanistan- declares victory as US backs out

A RECAP OF EVENTS:

September 11, 2001: Al-Qaeda terrorists hijacked four commercial flights, one of which crashed into the World Trade Center. Were there no Afghan citizens amongst those 19 hijackers. This was a global event, as the American Government launched an offensive against the Taliban in Afghanistan the subsequent week,

with the support of the British government.

May 1, 2011: US forces assassinated Osama Bin Laden, the al-Qaeda chief who was guilty for the 9/11 attacks, in Pakistan. Getting to Bin Laden cost the lives of millions of innocent people who perished as a result of the bombardment, as well as millions more were displaced. In the region, this resulted in a major human-rights dilemma.

April 14, 2021: The US Government decides the withdrawal of all 3,500 troops deployed in-- Afghanistan regardless of the progress made on the peace talks between the concerned groups or the Taliban

reduces its attacks on innocent citizens or violates their human rights.

This is under the presidency of Joe Biden.

$1000 Billion spent, more than $1 Million displaced and 100,000 killed . USA leaves this task unfinished.

Taliban take control over Kabul as Afghans evacuate capital. The fall of the Government is Real.
