PROJECT BEDAAG
In recent years, our culture has seen a rise in menstrual activism that aims to put period stigma in the past can. We at Saarang India have launched a Humanitarian initiative-Project Bedaag to battle the deep-rooted stigma and misconceptions around menstruation. We are going to launch a fundraiser to donate sanitary kits with flow pads in Connaught Place, Delhi
Project Bedaag aims to support homeless women during their menstrual cycles in the heart of the Indian Capital.
We look forward to writing against all major stereotypes around menstruation in India and aim to raise around 10,000 INR of funds, this money will go towards making quality Menstruation Kits that will support the homeless women and ensure that they have a safe cycle.
We have a team of professional medical experts who have been advising us on our Kits, and each kit will cost only 100 INR or 1.37 USD, so if you donate only 100INR or 1.37USD you will be helping an individual.
Each kit will have a set of reusable pads, deposing kit, a hygiene kit including sanitisers and wet wipes, and a small well-illustrated manual on how to use it. We will also provide the people will a demonstration of how to use them.
