As India is progressing to vaccinate more and more people each day, some states are far ahead than where Delhi currently stands. The top 10 states to vaccinate maximum number of people are as follows:
Maharashtra - Over 271.5 Lakh people
Uttar Pradesh - More than 250.843 Lakh people
Gujarat - 215.54 Lakh
Rajasthan - 206.18 Lakh people
West Bengal - 186.11 Lakh people
Karnataka - 180.69 Lakh People
Madhya Pradesh - 149.72 Lakh people
Bihar- 131 Lakh people
Andhra Pradesh - 124.65 lakh people
Tamil Nadu- 121 Lakh people
Notice how in the List Madhya Pradesh is on the seventh number, because as many as 17 Lakh people were getting inoculated everyday, now that number is reduced to just 5 thousand, which seems so mindblowing that now Congress is finally has a reason toh oppose them.
What is the main reason behind such drastic change in numbers because according to Madhya Pradesh minister Mr. Vishwas Sarang, 5,000 jabs were given only by private hospitals as Tuesday is not govt's vaccination day. This was not a believable reason because the opposition party had the idea that the MP govt. is clearly fooling the people.
Stating that only Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays are Vaccine days, doesn't help because with the third wave just around the corner we need to get more and more people vaccinated. Giving the excuse that Tuesday is not a vaccination day doesn't prove to be much comforting.
Meanwhile other States like Haryana and Uttar Pradesh are in complete contrast where more and more people are getting inoculated everyday, the reasons for just vaccinating 5k people a day are proving to be futile.
Now, Delhi has not been in top 10 states to get the most people vaccinated, probably because The center favours the BJP Governed States. More and more doses are being provided to those states whereas states like Kerela, West Bengal etc.are facing the lack of doses even though they are still trying to get more people immunized as soon as possible.
The Centre needs to stop favouring BJP Governed states and provide adequate doses to all the States irrespective of the ruling party.
