Ramesh Prokhriyal address the new education policy on 29 July 2020 Shiksha Samwad" on vision of making India a global knowledge superpower he stated that India will be first country to introduce artificial intelligent in their , he also said doing internships from a young age will help make students self-reliant and talking about
teaching students in their mother tongue, then the topmost developed countries are teaching their students in their language only. This policy was kept in the public don welcome more suggestions.
Till date, We've been focusing on 'what to think' in our education policy. In the NEP, we're focusing on 'How to Think. There is an avalanche of information in this digital era, and thus, we have tried to filter out what's not needed. How can our youth think critically and innovate unless we ensure a purpose in the education system.
THE NEW EDUCATION NORMAL IS HERE
The school education structure is changed from 10+2 system to 5+3+3+4 system, .Foundation Stage:- First five years of school 3 years of p primary+ 1st and 2nd class will be called as foundation years in which studies will be done with including fun activities of sports art, culture, etc. 2. From 3rd to 5th lasses technology, maths, humanities Vocational subjects etc. will we added in the studies. 3. Middle Stage:- In 6th to 8th studies will be done according to the syllabus but students will get a opportunity to learn coding and apply for internships 4. Last Stage:- From 9th to 12th deeper knowledge of a particular subject will be given to students.
CHANGES MADE FOR SCHOOL STUDENTS
No Stream System -Students of 11th and 12th classes won't have to select a particular stream they can study any subjects they want to. No Language will be Imposed Studies till 5th standard will be done using ational, state or regional language and students can write their board exam in any language. Practical Knowledge - From 6th standard students will be taught coding and they will also get the opportunity to applying for internships which wIll even help them to get practical kNowiedge. Semester study - 9-12 studies will be conducted in the semester system. These semesters will be 6 months long and final exam will be conducted in the end of every semester. Every class will consist of two semester and result will be formed after adding the marks of both the semesters.
COMMON APTITUDE TEST (CAT)- Even if the student is not able to Score well on their boards. They will get another opportunity of improving their scores by taking CAT before applying for college. MULTI EXIT AND MULTI ENTRY SYSTEM if a student has to drop out of college due to any reason then also his time won't be wasted as they can still come back to college within a particular period of time and also for completing: a) 1 year - certificate b) 2 years - Diploma c) 3 years- bachelor d) 4 year - bachelor + research degree will be awarded
